Welcome to Newgrounds, rigera.
Just as a heads-up: The 'Art Portal' is probably the busiest part or Newgrounds and it is hard to even get noticed, let alone gather much of a following. If you are mainly doing art for yourself that will not be a problem, but if I read you correctly, you are hoping for a bit of outside motivation. Which would mean you could do with a bit more visibility.
On its own, traditional art will already stand out when viewed in the Art Portal ( https://www.newgrounds.com/art/browse?artist-type=undiscovered ), but any submissions you make there will be drowned out rather quickly. So you will rely on other users being able to find your work through the 'search'. Right now, your one upload is pretty much invisible to anybody who searches for 'something like it'.
You could talk a bit about what you inspired you and who the characters are in the description. There is no "algorithm" here, so just write what comes to mind like a normal human being. ;)
You should also add descriptive tags.
Stuff like #traditional-art, #hand-drawn, #ink, #marker, or #pen-on-paper comes to mind, but Newgrounds' tag landscape is pretty much anarchy. The character names might also be a good choice, if you are portraying them regularly.
Commonly used tags get suggested as you type. If nobody but you uses a certain tag it was probably a bad choice, but there is no perfect approach to this. Your limit is a total of 12 tags, but you can always come back later and change them.
You can also list the tools that you used, which might be helpful to other artists. (Those are on another part of the project page: Click the button 'Users & Credits', and then under 'Products & Equipment'. "I think..." I do not publish on NG myself.)
And in doubt, you can ask your peers in the Art forum for advice:

General questions about Newgrounds you might have might have been answered here:

If you have a rather specific, general question about how Newgrounds works, there is also the "Where is / How to / Help!" forum:

Take your time. This is not a race. ;)
I hope you enjoy your stay.

Thank you so much, Yatsufusa!
I am new to newgrounds so your information will help me a lot in the future. Posting online is usually weird because you are supposed to be short in a way so I am happy that I can just be myself. I will keep tags in mind. Thank you for informing about various tools and resources that I otherwise would not have known. I really appreciate you :)
